Joy Paquin [d. 2004] believed that her three children were the sources of her best ideas in education. Joy taught a multi-age primary classroom in Victoria, British Columbia. The classroom was a shining example of child-centered education and a place where all students and parents were welcomed and given opportunities to thrive. Joy was a sought-after presenter whose workshops became the highlight of every conference she attended. She was also an accomplished storyteller and author.
