Vicki McCarthy


Vicki McCarthy has a PhD in education, with a focus on ESL learners’ integration, from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Her experiences include classroom and ESL school-based teaching, working as an ESL consultant for the Vancouver School District in British Columbia, teaching ESL courses at UBC, and facilitating staff development for teachers throughout the province. Vicki has been a member of many ESL associations and was previously president of the provincial English as a Second Language Provincial Specialists Association (ESL PSA). She presently works as a resource teacher and an administrator for the Vancouver School District.
