This module focuses on measurement skills: relating the passage of time to minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years; and estimating and measuring length and perimeter in centimetres and metres, and mass in grams and kilograms. Geometry concepts emphasize describing 3-D objects by the shape of their faces and the number of vertices and edges, and sorting regular and irregular polygons (triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, octagons) according to the number of sides.
